  The Hyper Text Markup Language according to W3C (WWW Consortium) we use its 5th version which is valid in all over the the world. 

The Browser ( Which are responsible of understanding its tags, attributes etc.) we are using now are Internet Explorer , Google Chrome, Opera, ... etc. are now available for doing so. Along with these the HTML could take the help of CSS3 ( Cascading Style Sheet) and JavaScript also which always remain in the hands of Web- Developer and You are also given the benefits to embed all multimedia in your web-page(s)but the data and further functioning is done by the host using languages like Java, C++, Python etc along with to consolidate the data using SQL. They are also called Back End of the website (if host are given with domain name and several web-pages are developed by the web-developer also called Front End)
